If there was a biography about you, what would the title be?

I would like to call my biography The other side of the coin. Why you might ask is because I have now lived homeless for a year and to me this is living the other side of the coin. I recently came in to some money from the leftover funds from the equity in my home and I wanted to tell my story which would be included in my biography. Before Christmas I was getting copies of my paperwork from the sale of my home at auction in our city created by some debt I had. I was trying to get moved up on the list for housing and hopefully get into a home sooner. I was told to contact our local Master Commissioner which I did. When I called the Master Commissioner informed me I had leftover funds from the sale of my home. I was very shocked by this because if you don’t call them specifically about anything then you don’t know about this. The Master Commissioner told me that there’s hundreds of people with funds that they may not even know they have. I could have had a home in just a few weeks if I had been informed. The Master Commissioner then told me what lawyer to see about getting my funds and I went through the steps and I now have the means necessary to get into a home. I wanted to share my story because I know that there’s others like me and they don’t just inform anyone about this and if you’re in need or just want to save being informed could help you. I’m also trying to start several side hustles to get a steady income coming in for the future. Being homeless hasn’t been easy for me and I have done a lot of research and legwork and made a lot happen with free resources and just talking to others and asking questions about how to go about things. I’m very proud of my determination and strength for not giving up on making things better.I hope my story can show someone else the way and help them realize that everyone has a talent other than the 9 to 5 grind every day. I’m currently doing a lot of things I actually enjoy and starting to get an income from them. I have sold eight gift baskets so far and am working towards putting everything online. Writing about things also helps my focus and gives me another idea for income. I also want to start my audio podcast project. I think that even if I have been homeless for a year I have made an amazing journey to learn and create so many ideas and find so many resources to help me along the way. I have also met some amazing people who have contributed with advice and support along the way. I’m very proud to have a great supportive husband as well. I know my journey is not over just yet but I feel that if I keep going in the right direction I will have more amazing accomplishments to share.
